In advertising school you learn a few different strategies and tactics within advertising. In the past I have learn a bit about how sex gets portrayed into advertising. In my classes we study and talk about how sex in the media is often influential and can be highly successful in an advertising campaign. As I have learned more about this topic within advertising, I have also recognized more how society is changing and in many ways not for the best. 

This past Sunday I heard the pastor talk about our culture and when I listened to it thought about advertising in this way. I often find it interesting to study or look at culture, but the talk Sunday kind of helped me understand things even on a better level that I already knew.
